not sure.

i verbally agreed i would train someone ages ago. they're now using it
as a bargaining point. now that i've been arguing the toss with them i
get the impression that they felt that once i was paid i would simply
disappear off the face of the earth, leaving them with a website that
no-one knows how to use, simply because of their terribly bad internal
communication. they have already lost a number of staff recently
leaving them in the $*!t.
i think holding payment on the invoice may have been, in their own
strange way, insecurities manifesting to simply try and 'hold on' to
me, as they didn't know how to proceed with the project. unfortunately
they are another one of these clients who want a website with bells and
whistles, but have no idea *exactly what* to do with it.
web marketing is another area of services i provide, but they didn't
want to pay for that!

yep, i called back and said that the cheque must be ready when i arrive
in the morning, otherwise i turn and leave :-)
