Yes, Firefox works on Windows. If you go to http://www.mozilla.org/ it
looks like it autodetects which version you need:

Free Download
for Windows, English (British) (4.7MB)
Other Systems and Languages

If it doesn't say windows, click on the "Other Systems and Languages"
link and find a Britsh version for Windows.
