Subject: FN-FORUM: [OT] Car Insurance problem...
A few weeks ago someone backed into my boyfriends car.
It was their fault - he was parked and in our room at the time.
They came and knocked on the door and were very apologetic and gave us their
insurance details.
My boyfriend's insurance company arranged a garage to pick his car up, and a
different garage to provide him with a replacement car.
Both were completely useless and the repair garage lost all the paperwork
from Direct Line, so everything was delayed a week.
Now the car is fixed and the passenger indicator is blowing a fuse whenever
activated.
This wasn't happening before the accident.
My boyfriends insurance company are saying "not accident, not us, you pay".
Is there a way of telling them 'legally' to f-off and get it sorted?
This whole thing has been a mess from day one.
Nicola
