sorry, you guys completely misunderstand what i wanted to do.
i want to open a PDF in Indesign and be able to edit it, not simply
place it into the document (which is incredibly easy to do, and would
be embarrassed to have asked such a question) ;-)
the PDF pages (21 of them) have been created in Illustrator - but
Illustrators PDF export is incredibly bloaty.
there isn't a direct import from illustrator to indesign either -
except by dragging between windows - but you lose text edibility, oops
editibility (is that a word??)
as said, i've searched the adobe site for a plug in but nought is
available (that i can see anyway)
