why not preloaded them, if you use dw I think you can preload some
images, so preload your menu and then you wil just loose like 1 sec but
your site will show up properly no white part. Just an idea...

A nice way to avoid the rollover problem would be to preload the
images... then when you focus on them they are already there and you
avoid the problem of blank images
