I've used all sorts over the years.
WebTrends (http://www.webtrends.com) has always been a good choice, if a
little expensive.
Funnel Web Analyser (http://www.funnelwebcentral.com/), although a
little buggy and not supported by Quest any more is a damn good bit of
stats software.
I've also used Webalizer (http://www.mrunix.net/webalizer/) on *nix
servers. It provides good if somewhat basic reports. Most of the stuff
I create is dynamic, so I need to look at the URL params in site stats -
webalizer doesn't do this, but works well on standard html sites.
I've just changed hosts and as part of the deal I was given licences for
SmarterStats and SmarterMail.
(http://www.smarterstats.com/Products/SmarterStats/Default.aspx) So far
I'm loving both of these products! :oD
These last 2 stats packages are server side, so you will need root/admin
access to the server to set them up. If you're using shared hosting it
probably worth asking your host what they offer in terms of web log
analysis/stats. They are bound to have something.

ummm.... well you'll only need an additional 12 "ON" images. On the
pages that match the appropriate number, in Dreamweaver, just take out
the rollover for that number and replace it with the on image - no need
for the link, because you're on the page already.

No worries - hope I haven't created too much more work for you....
