FN-FORUM: RE: PC accessories & parts retailers?
date posted 1st May 2005 00:40
Julie,
In your experience of building PCs, is it difficult to take an existing old
PC (I have 2 old Dell 450Mhz) and install a new mobo + processor?
I have a good 120Gb drive in each with 512Mb RAM as well + good video, sound
and LAN cards for each, but they desperately could do with an upgrade to
>2Ghz as we need a cheap method of getting a couple more computers into
play.
Any ideas?
Best Regards,
Richard.

Hi Richard,
I purchase my supplies from www.starcomputers.co.uk, as its local to me
I collect all my purchases and they have given me excellent service,
they also sell Windows XP Pro at a decent price. As for Adobe software
I purchase this from a seller on Ebay who has been selling for years.
Regards,
Julie
