Windows:
OK, Microsoft do commercial licenses for this very purpose.
There are OEM licenses too.
I don't know much about them, I've just used them when I was working
in a datacentre.
His best option is to go to the UK MS website and find their Sales
phone number and talk to them about it and find out how much it'll be,
how to do it, etc.
Linux:
If he's installing free linux, it doesn't matter.
It costs nothing, so multiples of nothing are still nothing.
RedHat Enterprise and SuSe Enterprise:
Same kind of deal as MS.
Same advice.
