Further to this, AMD have announced last ship/order dates for socket 754.
This is to distributors so expect stock to runout shortly after the
last ship date, as AMD are making it more attractive to buy 939 at the
lower end than 754.

Further to our previous communication, we would like to remind you
that the AMD Athlon(tm) 64 processor family will fully transition to
939-pin .
Please find below the last-time order and last delivery dates for AMD
Athlon 64 processors in Socket 754.
2800+, 3000+ and 3200+, last order is 15/6/05, last ship is 15/12/05.
3400+ and 3700+ have passed last orders and last ship is 25/9/05.
939 variants are 3000+, 3200+, 3500+, 3700+ (not in production yet),
3800+, 4000+ and FX-55
