Yeah I know, let's face it, any IT person who gets stuck, heads for the net=
.
The problem is that I've seen a lot of jobs advertised for people with
CISCO knowledge, and they almost always want a CCNA.
It's the same problem I face in server admin jobs.
I don't have my MCSA / MCSE yet. And only because the exams are so
bloody expensive.
It's a never-ending circle.
To earn the certificate, you need a high-paying job.
To get the high-paying job, you need the certificate.
Unless you can be fortunate enough to get in with a company who will
pay for the cert.
But where I'm based, there are so many people looking for IT jobs,
it's difficult to get in anywhere.
