I like Richard's answer, but anyway...
An IP address is a numerical identifier for a particular machine. =20
E.g. 18.181.0.31. More than one website can sit on the same=20
IP address, and this is what you would normally do.
A machine can have more than one IP address. This is useful when=20
you have a secure site (https://). As communication with a secure
site is encrypted, the server cannot tell which website the resuet is=20
for, unless the website is on a unique IP address.
There's other things you might do with a "spare" IP address.
To the OP: put all your sites on the "first" IP and save the others
for later.
