I had this problem in illustrator, I got round it by exporting a gradiant in PS as a pdf document saving transparency then importing it into illustrator. I Guess you could do it this way. craig ----...

Thanks for the advice, I've added an IE specific version of the menublock class with a height: 510px instead of a bottom: 0px in it. Also moved the background image from the body to the contentblock...
