FN-FORUM: BIZ: Use of Hidden Div Script....
date posted 24th June 2005 16:56
Afternoon all,
I have a client of mine that is currently looking at using some Hidden =
Div
Scripts to assist with listings of his sites in search engines. He has
already run some keyword reports and within a week of the sites going =
live
with the hidden div inputted he is achieving in excess of 2500 ranking
across UK search engines search as MSN, Yahoo, Lycos, Ask Jeeves, =
Tiscali
etc.=20
The search engine that doesn=92t seem to be picking up the hidden div in =
terms
of listing the site or in the cache of pages is Google. Is this because
Google don't like hidden div within sites or is it just that the sites =
are
now sitting in the bottomless pit that is the Google holding area.=20
Although my customer isn=92t majorly bothered about not appearing in =
Google as
he will do the payperclick listings here. However out of curiosity he =
wants
to know the answer.
Any advice and thoughts appreciated.
Cheers
