If you do it right, it can be within a couple of days. Link to it
from any vaguely established blog, and it'll be found pretty quickly.
This doesn't imply you'll get a good PR, mind you.

The point of server side includes is it assembles the bits of the
page, and spits it out as one chunk. ie, Google (or anyone else)
won't know or care if the page is constructed of SSIs or not.
