True, though also make sure that your host is running PHP5 - there's
quite a few still running PHP4 and your PHP5 commands won't run on
them.

I just checked Amazon, and it looks like a 3rd edition of this book
was released late last year (ISBN 0672326728). This covers PHP5 and
MySQL5, and still seems to be rated really well for beginner to
intermediate developers. It'll cost you around =A325 on Amazon, but
there may be cheaper places to source it.
