FN-FORUM: VOIP and Featureline
date posted 1st September 2005 13:31
Does anyone have any experience with FeatureLine, BT's cheap PBX
system?
The main restriction is that it only works on phones connected to the
local telephone exchange.
I was wondering if there was any way of extending the range by using
VOIP as a form of extension?
I was thinking along the lines of having an extra Featureline phone
socket being put in one office which has a gizmo to link it to the net
and then another gizmo in my own office that I can plug the featureline
phone into.
Any recommendations for forums/lists where I would be able to get an
answer to this question?
