They're basically scams. There are literally hundreds of these schemes advertised all over the place (you see them on every page of ebay) and they operate just within the laws that ban pyramid schem...

These sorts of sites are in my opinion a complete scam. However there are very ligitimate ways to make a lot of money from adsense, even a complete income from it, although not really a reliable one....
