word of warning for mac people thinking of using skype...

The software support for most skype USB phones isn't available for
mac's till later this year (apparently).
I ended up buying a plantronics USB headset, which was bloody
expensive, and you look like a bit of a tit wearing it, but its good
and functional.

Much to my shock and disappointment, a G5 PPC doesn't have a mic in.
only a line in, so you would need a USB mic :(
