sounds like it could be a bitmap placed in an eps rather than vector
only eps?
Alternatively you need to ungroup the elements?
If u can email the file can give clear diagnosis?

Hi
A client has sent me some .eps files of his logo that a friend of his has
created.
I need to make some changes to the bg of the logo but when opening these
[they open] in MX freehand it does not...

Just to further this, if you hold down the ALT button whilst pressing
the print screen one, it'll capture only the active window, rather than
the entire screen. Handy if you want to take just the web...

Its relatively simple, press the print scrn button on your keyboard,
visually nothing happens but what it does is store the image on the
windows clipboard. You should then open up an image editi...

Seems fine to me, I'm using Safari running on OS X 10.3 and just get
form box in top left corner, all drop downs work and looks ok.
