sounds like it could be a bitmap placed in an eps rather than vector only eps? Alternatively you need to ungroup the elements? If u can email the file can give clear diagnosis? Nigel...

Just to further this, if you hold down the ALT button whilst pressing the print screen one, it'll capture only the active window, rather than the entire screen. Handy if you want to take just the web...
