There's an old (for the internet) adage "Never write in an email
something you wouldn't write on a postcard".

Why shouldn't your erudite musings on an email forum such as this bring
you credit and accolades from all and sundry - clients included? :-)

My watchword would be - if you've got nothing interesting to say then
shut up!
