Re: FN-FORUM: Concept service - feedback needed

In the spirit of our best politicians I would ask how much do you =20
think you can charge ;-)

Seriously though I have been paying around =A3100 to get a logo done. =20=

This includes reviewing some concepts, narrowing down what I like, =20
agreeing the final logo and then having it in various forms (bitmap, =20
print friendly, vector etc) along with a single simple flash =20
animation and banner. This is around 4/5 hrs of designer time.

as far as web site concepts go I think that is harder. The problem =20
for me is that most good, web savvy designers can come up with =20
designs very quickly but the real value add for me is them being able =20=

to take a chosen concept and properly cut it up for use in a css =20
driven site. It's the latter bit that take me too much time and =20
where I really would benefit from a designer's rapid touch. I am not =20=

sure if that is what you are suggesting you would provide? In =20
principle I would pay between =A318-25ph as that seems to be the going =20=

rate for the guys I normally use.
