FN-FORUM: Exhibition screen and Database

A designer I know wants to know you can connect to a Database on a laptop
from a Exhitition Screen which is a Touch Screen. Am I right in thinking
that you can? I gather he want to store information input via the Touch
Screen and want to know if it is possible.
