Hi Max,
True the client may like it and all will be fine.
On the other hand, as a designer, i would strongly suggest that you
never think in the terms that the client is always right. Nothing
could be further from the truth. It is true the client knows what
they like, but as a person who is offering a service to design and
build websites it is up to you to decide your self what is right for
the client and more importantly what is right for your clients target
audience. Be confident in your own work and if there is some thing
that is trying to convince yourself then there may be some thing
wrong that you instinctively know.

It is a simple way to brighten it up without having to move much at all
