RE: FN-FORUM: Null testing problem

Hmmm, anybody who considers that VB is "BASIC" obviously hasn't used it
to it's full potential. There really is very little day to day that
can't be done in VB - and even less so in VB.NET. There's been a number
of comparisons done between the speeds of VB.NET and C# and most of it's
neck and neck as it's all dependant on the CLR. What I like about VB
compared to other languages is that generally it's easy to read as it's
a fairly "English" language. It's always going to be an each to their
own when it comes to languages and it's often down to what you use
first.

It's hateful, isn't it? =20
http://vb.mvps.org/tips/truth.asp is a fairly comprehensive discussion.
Personally I no longer consider myself a Beginner so I don't use
Beginner's All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code.
