Firstly sorry for the bad english on my previous e-mail
I'm on a Mac OSX in Safari and the text is certainly not garamond -
sorry that's probably what's screwing up on my browser suggest you set
it to Ariel anyway. The before and after shots don't come out on my
screen as youve described but rather a vertical line of images in one
col. So its hard for me to suggest anything as Its plain I'm looking at
something very different to you
yours
Matt
PS no problem that's what this is all for

Hi Matt,
What browser / OS are you using (I'm guessing firefox / safari on a
mac ?). The font requested was Garamond (when I see the client I'm going
to suggest heavily that it's not a good idea as I too think it looks
like a default - I'd prefer and arial type one as at least it then fits
with the rest of the graphics.
The before & after gallery (as I'm sure you've worked out) is;
Col1 = list of all cars / things
Col2 = list of all thumbnails related to the item you've selected in
Col1
Col3 = Full image with a bit of text explaining the picture.
There's some javascript work required to make it more obvious what's
been selected in col1 when they're looking at col2 etc. and on IE the
height is limited and you get vertical scrollbars. When you say it's a
bad use of the screen - what would you advise ? The general situation is
that there's one before and several after shots - short of getting the
client to take a load of other pictures I'm not sure the best way to do
it.
Thanks for your input,
Cheers
Andy

I am a designer and I dont know if you meant this to be the case but the
text all comes out really big and overruns under you bottom bar - it
also appears as some kind of default font like courier so looks really
basic (not trying to be rude just helpful) as you say the 1st menu of
services doesnt come out correctly and it looks for the picture of the
car that the logo is different from the one on the van therefore these
is inconsistency there The before and after shots all appear as a
vertical line of images which is a bad use of the screen and in my mind
doesnt sell the concept of before and after as its hard to see what they
are apart for pics of the insude of a car type thing
hope thats some help like I say just trying to help really
good luck

Hi,
Quick request for a site test - I'm not a graphic designer - the
background image and colours are already defined as they need to match
with business cards etc. But I think that it doesn't *quite* pull
together cohereantly.
There's some more text content to come on various pages as well as
images for them so it's really just the homogenaity.
Oh, and ignore the valid XHTML thing - that needs removing.
And I know that on non-IE the stuff bleeds under the height. It's more
the graphic design element that needs a fresh eye.
Site is;
