On a similar note, a friend was working as an office junior via one of
these secretarial agencies. The company decided they'ld take her on
permananent so agreed to the agency's buy-out clause. Hunky dory.
Finshies on Friday as a temp and starts on the Monday as a permie.
Monday comes and goes.
Tuesday comes and a list of redundancies come round including her.
Wednesday she goes back to the agency seeking new work for Monday.
It's a mad world out there .......
