FN-FORUM: Advice for bulk emailing

Hello all

I work for a photographer who periodically wants to seng html mail or just
emails with attachments to send to contacts and previous clients


She has a filemaker pro database (on mac) with about 6000 names - 2500 have
email addresses


I exported these as comma seperated text (just the email addresses and
imported this into outlook express on a pc

I then grouped these into several groups - however the format of many emails
was incorrect - so the message could not be sent until they had all been
actioned


What would be ideal is if there was a way to construct the email, and then
have some kind of script to go through the contact list individually -
sending the ones to valid email addresses and ignoring the others rather
than me spending several hours correcting mistakes

Considering this is something done every three or four months it needs to be
correct - If anyone can suggest an alternative for a fee I will forward it
on to her


She obviously wants to pay no money, but it will cost her money to have
someone to do it the way I did

If there is an easier way of doing it, or an appropriate program - then that
would be great
