Send the e-mail to yourself and BCC: the message to all the database
addresses (which you should do anyway, so you don't send everyone's e-mail
address to everyone else. Valid ones will go, the rest will bounce with
error messages. Then at least you only have to deal with the invalid ones.

A more complex solution would be to check each address for validity, first
looking at the format of the string, and then, ideally, also attempting to
send to each address. There are free PHP scripts available to do this.

I could put together a simple web-based solution to validate a list of
addresses for ~£100 if that would be of interest. Paste the list into a
web form, press the go button, and get a lists of valid and invalid ones
back.
