FN-FORUM: Link checking

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get a tutorial or something about checking
reciprocal links?
I've swapped links with other sites before and if the server goes down, for
example, I get an email saying that they cannot find my link. How is this
done?

I hope that explanation is good enough for you to know what I mean!
