+1 to that - we used 'em in the Army an dI still use one when contracting to
the Army when working on armour.
The Panasonics are about as rugged as Early Learning Centre ones you get in
Boots.

I used to do roadside surveying and stuff and we always had huskies as
the pc for the lasers. absolutely indestructable, i should know as I
drove the van over one. it was fine.

Not searched for it but there used to be either a maker or model called
Husky or some such that specialised in these types of machine, seem to
recall them testing it on a tv show by driving a car over...
