Re: FN-FORUM: ActiveX Content, Internet Explorer
date posted 18th January 2006 13:57
Hi im just wondering if its common for free personal web hosting sites sites
to put activeX content into websites uploaded. Cos inot really sure of a:
what an activeX object actually is (Im largely self taught, and some of
these specific terms escape me. Also I ignore microsoft in favor of our
cross platform and open GL friend Java :)) or b: Im wondering wondering how
one got on there. Is it just the pop up stuff of my hostign company?
My site uses xml loader and parser and javascript, and i have put a hit
counter on which i got from bravenet, so im thinkin that could be it.
wud anyone be willing to help me? oh and anyone want to criticise/exalt my
creative efforts?
cheers in advance
Peter
