Generally speaking, they say if you want anything above 32", go for a plasma
and 32" and under, go for an LCD.
This 42" plasma comes with free desktop stand and wall mount for under
£1200, philips too -

Subject: FN-FORUM: OT - Buying a TV - Any advice?
Hi
I'm thinking it's about time I got a new TV. Can anyone share some
recent research or know of good offers? All I've been advised is to
make sure it's HD ready. I'm thinking about this one....

This morning they had 45 in stock and now they have 40, so I'm
thinking it must be a good deal. It also has some very good reviews.
TIA
Paul
