RE: FN-FORUM: Google won't index PHP site

date posted 24th January 2006 11:14

That's exactly what I'm thinking for. What's the best place to look on
Google to get the format right and how do you submit it ?

Seems to be mostly good reviews on them to get massive amounts of pages
indexed though it seems people tend not to use them if they already have
a high number of pages already indexed.

I've read stories on a few forums of people getting 20,000 plus pages
indexed by using the xml sitemap so obviously looks a good idea for
large scale e-commerce sites etc

You could try creating a google xml sitemap and uploading it into the
main directory. Heard a few good things about the XML feeds apart from
using them on a site which already has a good spread of indexed pages.

Whats the URL? I can create an xml sitemap for you here
