Lee,
I tailor my proposals to the individual clients. I ask myself: What do they
want to know? I also see it as a deal-clinching document. If you present the
right proposal, they're more likely to procure your services rather than
someone else's. So think it through carefully for each client.
Try to put yourself in the shoes of the particular client. If you were them,
what would you want to see in a freelancer's proposal?
