RE: FN-FORUM: photos - used without permission
date posted 26th January 2006 08:27
The site is a local B & B - I was searching for sites on Google as I may be
going to be doing a local heritage site - and wanted to gather more local
info - the Bonfire is quite big news down here and there are a lot of local
sites with links to it. The pictures are also published on a lot of sites
(national and local) with an appropriate credit - hyperlink and in most
cases a fee. This is the first time I've come across a site using them
without permission. In fact there are lots of other pictures on the site
and I doubt if they got permission to use any of them - but only two of them
are mine. They made contact by email last night - so we'll see how it goes
today.
Thanks all for the advice.
A.

Andrew,
Out of interest how did you discover that they were using your photos?
