Yes you need to set the DNS records to your new IP address, propogation can
take a while, provided you own the domains.

you need to change the nameserverson the current host, it'll take 24/48
hours to fully propogate across the internet although you may be able to
create the new account on your own server within a coup...

I'd recommend the local Jobcentre advisory staff. There are many (almost)
government funded CIW courses available at local centres specialising in web
training and CIW. Jobcentre staff will know them...

I'd like to point out here that dreamweaver produces the worst HTML and
especially the worst PHP I have ever seen. Any package produces bad code,
but I'd rather clean up after frontpage than dreamwea...

If you are in an NTL/Telewest area i would recommend going with them, i've
suffered maybe 2 problems in the 3 years i've had it here. Always on,
