The revenue or an accountant can answer this. Who advised you to register?

The revenue or an accountant can answer this.
If are registered self-employed you need to make those contributions
which your employer currently makes. But whether or not you need to
make additional contributions in your particular circumstances I
can't say.

Not personally. As a full-time freelancer, I've been registered
self-employed for 6 years and pay my NI contributions by direct debit.

Cash in hand. ;)
Seriously though, you need to get some tax advice. If there are
additional liabilities due on top of income tax, then you need to
cover this in your charges.
