A lot of ISPs who offer "free" webspace limit FTP connections to make sure
you are connected using their service.

I'm trying to upload some pages to a friends website which is for their
free site with BTConnect, but the FTP access is failing.

Has anyone here managed to upload to a BTConnect ftp area when not
connect to BT? I'm just wondering if access is being restricted to
account holder IP addresses.
