RE: FN-FORUM: spilt tea

Take the board out and spray it with a PCB solvent board cleaner, these
boards are 3 layer PCB's and it doesn't take much to track across layers. If
you have sugar in your tea, then that will cause the biggest problem. The
more the sugar = the more the likelihood of shortcircuits. I do this all the
time with notebooks, usually travelling with a cup of starbucks does it for
me everytime. I carry a screwdriver and spray all the time now.

Subject: FN-FORUM: spilt tea
Hi All
wonder if anyone can give me a light on this...
I threw my tea into my keyboard last week. Dip stick.
No real problems though, I washed it in hot water and dried it on the
heater, plugged it back in a day or so later and it worked fine.
However... It seems that the spillage somehow disabled my "Log Out", "
restart" and "Shut Down" selections in the apple menu
any one any idea how to get em back?
