First, and remarkably a serious question, what kind of tea was it, ordinary
breakfast tea? Did it have sugar? Second, did you was the outer casing or
disassemble and wash the PCB?

Liquids with a lot of sugar and other substances that can rot copper PCB
tracks (tea and coffee with sugar, and coke (no, no, no: the fizzy drink
stuff)). These liquids are best taken away with warm water and small amount
of washing up liquid. Once done, dry from a distance with hair dryer but do
not make the board hot. After that, leave for a couple of hours. Reassemble,
ensuring all keyboard components are properly aligned.

If you simply washed the outer casing you probably have residue inside the
keyboard.

Mike A.
