Thought I'd add my twopenn'orth...

Ethyl Alchohol is available in the form of methylated spirits, although this
does also contain methyl alchohol (to make it poisonous and undrinkable) and
normally purple colouring (so you can tell which vodka is the "real" one...)

A lot of cheap keyboards use rubber cup shapes under the keycaps to act as
springs; when these get crushed from over-use (think ctrl-c/ctrl-v and space
invaders) it tends to stop the keyboard working so well!
