Thanks all,

Just to re-iterate the initial point.The fact being that as you have
said in your blogs, Dave, companies are never going to step back to
using plain text. What i am trying to do is ensure that when emails
are sent in HTML, that they are done properly, thus my questions
regarding pointing to an image rather than embedding it, and point
Dave made about always making a text only version.

So, any other thoughts?
