Quite. This is where we show our professionalism, educate the customer that
there are problems with HTML email and that some (significant number of) people
will not read them. Thus they should *always* send out a plain text attachment
as well as an html version -- even better allow a customer the choice when
they sign up for whatever.
This is part of the value of a forum like this -- get to meet people who view
things differently. The best of us will accept those views as valid (even if we
don't agree with them) and go on to do a better job for our clients.
I agree that HTML will not die the death that it should, my customers know to
give the option.
