The workaround for this so everyone (!) is happy is to send your
e-mails in Multipart MIME format. This means that you will need a
plain text version of your html e-mail which can be used to create the
Multipart file.
When the e-mail is received by the reader's e-mail client the e-mail
will be displayed in the reader's preferred format.
