Try base64 encoding before passing, and base64 decoding after.

If anyone cant read that this is what it said:
Does anyone know why characters like this get all mucked up when they
get passed through php?
No doubt someone's mail client wont be able to read these special
chars, but im sure someone will get them. Anyway, im trying to pass
these dodgy characters through php and all of them get turned to
question marks. So im assuming the php engine cant handle them by
default. Does anyone have any idea what i can do to get them to work?
Much appreciated.
