RE: FN-FORUM: Windoze .dat file

Sounds like antivirus software changed it to a .dat file. I have seen this
happen with some virus software tools, why ask them to put it on an FTP site
somewhere, or zip it.

Subject: FN-FORUM: Windoze .dat file
Hi all,
A client has e-mailed me a load of artwork and the attachment has arrived as
a .dat file. Does anyone know how to open one of these? I've been googling
for an answer but nothing I've found works (I know, obvious answer is just
to ask the client to resend data but they're not available for rest of day &
I'd like not to waste more time). TIA.
Guy.
