RE: FN-FORUM: Qualifications

Microsoft Certified and the Cisco stuff are a complete waste of time. You
should only do them if you are aiming to do a job that 100% specifically
requires them. They are both multi choice questions that - however
experienced/qualified you are - you will never be able to answer without
doing the course or reading the book, - both of which are stupidly expensive
and unless you are a complete novice - will teach you nothing.
Why do you need a CCNA to back up your web development??

Subject: FN-FORUM: Qualifications
Hi,
I want to gain some more IT qualifications, whilst I finish my degree.
Something like a Microsoft Certified something or other, or Cisco, etc.
I'm aiming to go into web development and have some experience, but I'd like
to get a specific qualification to back it up. What are the best
qualifications for web development and are there any that I should go for
before getting a specific certificate?
