Don't think so. I am 34 and I know there are a few who have been here a
while who are a similar age if not older than I am. I'd say a lot of the
newer posters are younger, but from recent posts I have assumed that =
many
here view freelancing as something you do while looking for a permanent =
job.

Couldn't agree more. It's annoying me slightly because I still haven't
found a decent site to get contracts or put realistic bids in. The
freelance sites I have seen are all forum based & have stupid bids like =
=A330
for a =A33000 site due to automated responses & people that don't need =
this
sort of work to pay their mortgage.
Not being a designer, I find it more difficult to showcase my work as =
no-one
ever sees the code behind the site.

I feel better now *sigh* rant over.
