Hi Naomi,

If you're looking for a PC laptop, take a look at the New Sony Viao
VGN-FE11S. I picked one up from PC World for =A3930 excl VAT. A =
fantastic
machine - Intel Core Duo (Like MacBook), 1Gb RAM, Dual Layer DVD, and =
best
of all, for graphics work, a NVidia GeForce 7400 with 256mb ram.
I'm using it intensively with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS, After
Effects, and SoftImage XSI. Performs flawlessly.
I thing if you go for this though - ditch Media Centre (pre-installed) =
and
install XP Pro.

Other than the Sony, I'd go for a Dell. Solid, robust Laptops....

Of course, given the choice, I'd go for the MacBook, but XSI doesn't run =
on
OS X :(
