Tam,
I personally do not hire anyone now on daily or weekly rates. Mainly because
they is no commitment from the freelancers side to meet a time goal and the
time spent can be endless with unknown costs. As a person who employees
freelancers and also works as a freelancer, then this is a no goer. If
you're good at what you do then if you quote for a job you will have
completed it with time to spare. As far as I am concerned if this was the
case I might as well employee someone, less hourly pay and I can dictate the
terms. Really sounds like you couldn't be bothered quoting for projects.
